James Brown was known as “The Godfather of Soul”. He used his voice creatively as an instrument. His style can’t be replicated, but you can still hear his imprint in today’s music. He empowered black people with songs like “say it loud”. We should play some of his music today to edify his name, and use this portrait to keep his legacy alive with our next generation.
